NHLBI has launched a search to identify candidates for the position of NHLBI Data Science Strategist within the Extramural Division. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-level leadership to a wide range of activities across the Institute involved with the development and implementation of scientific cloud platforms, data analytics, and tools to support biomedical researchers spanning a broad range of disciplines and programs. The incumbent will serve as the primary strategist for NHLBI’s data driven programs and the platforms that support those programs. The position will develop strategies for support of NHLBI portfolio of data science and data focused programs including the NHLBI BioData Catalyst, Trans-Omics for Precision Medicine (TOPMed), Cure Sickle Cell Initiative (CURESC), HeartShare and the associate AMP HF program.
