Value Set Authority Center (VSAC) SVS API

The Value Set Authority Center (VSAC) is a repository and authoring tool for public value sets, which are lists of codes and terms from standard clinical vocabularies like SNOMED CT, RxNorm, and LOINC. The VSAC SVS API, based on the IHE SVS Technical Framework, section 2.2.21 Sharing Value Set Integration Profile (SVS), and the IHE SVS XML Schema, is an API service for accessing the VSAC value sets and supported code systems. The API requires a UMLS account and returns data in XML format.
